The 2026 GMC Terrain is equipped with one of the largest touchscreen interfaces in its class, measuring 15 inches. All three 2026 GMC Terrain trim grades have two rows of seats that can hold up to five passengers. Front and rear passengers will have more than 1,000 millimetres of legroom, keeping everyone comfortable on the longest trips. Additionally, heated front seats are standard equipment on the current Terrain model.
Cargo Volume
When both rows are filled with people, there are 844 litres of cargo volume behind the rear row of seats. Folding the rear seat down makes up to 1,798 litres of cargo volume available. Additionally, AT4 and Denali trims are equipped with a hands-free liftgate.
Performance
Smooth Performance
Every 2026 Terrain uses a turbocharged 1.5-litre, four-cylinder engine that is attached to an eight-speed automatic transmission. I will make up to 175 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque.
Fuel Economy
Even with all of this performance available, the 2026 Terrain delivers strong fuel economy scores. Drivers can expect it to return 9.9 L/100 km in the city and 8.9 L/100 km on the highway.
